Prospector

“Placer” refers to the mining of gold nuggets or other precious metals by washing and sifting alluvial deposits in a stream bed.  The Placer Estate Planning Blog seeks to mine nuggets of valuable estate planning information and make them easily available to its readers.  Placer is also the name of the California County east of Sacramento, containing the city of Roseville.

I am a member of the State Bar of California (member, Estate Planning Section); Sacramento Bar Association (member, Estate Planning Section); and Placer County Bar Association. I am a member of the board and past chair of the Sacramento Chapter of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society. I earned a B.A. degree from Brigham Young University in 1987 and my J.D. degree from Columbia University School of Law in New York City in 1990.
